The 2024 IEEE Global Conference on Artificial Intelligence & Internet of Things (2024 IEEE GCAIoT) in its 8th edition, invites authors to submit their Posters to this year’s edition of the conference.
As a leading forum for AI and IoT professionals, the conference brings together researchers, industry practitioners, and government stakeholders to share latest research contributions & exchange knowledge with the goal of shaping the future of AI, IoT and new technologies. This year’s theme “Next-Gen Intelligence: Exploring Augmented AI and IoT Innovations” underscores the significant role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies in advancing digital transformation and promoting sustainable, smart city developments.

Dr. Nour Aburaed is an Assistant Professor in Computer Engineering at the University of Dubai. She earned her PhD in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, with a focus on single image super-resolution for hyperspectral remote sensing. Previously, she worked for 6 years at the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre, developing automated tools for image analysis. Nour holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Engineering from Khalifa University, specializing in high-ISO image de-noising and quantum image processing. As an active IEEE member, she serves as the secretary of the IEEE ComSoc UAE Chapter and is a frequent contributor and reviewer for reputable journals and conferences. Additionally, she is a guest editor for the special issue “Recent Advances in Deep Learning-Based High-Resolution Image Processing and Analysis. in MDPI Remote Sensing journal. Her research interests include remote sensing, AI, image processing, and their applications in smart cities and environmental technologies.

Dr. Nour Aburaed

Dr. Maisam Wahbah received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Khalifa University (KU), UAE. In 2019, she joined the Healthcare Engineering Innovation Center at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at KU as a Post-Doctoral Fellow. Dr. Wahbah is currently an assistant professor at the College of Engineering and Information Technology, University of Dubai, UAE. Her research interests include renewables, power system studies, signal processing, AI, as well as circuits and systems. She is the IEEE UAE Section Awards and Recognition Committee Chair, Co-Chair of the IEEE Women in Engineering International Leadership Summit Dubai, and has successfully secured multiple funds for hosting international technical and professional events. Her exceptional performance and contributions undoubtedly reflect her outstanding commitment and dedication to excellence
