It’s a spin-off project by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in EMEA. The project launched in 2018 as a collaboration between the Young Professionals and Professional and Educational Activities Committees.
The vision at R8 Entrepreneurship is to spark innovation and entrepreneurship among young professionals in Europe, Middle East and Africa, through the core programs, including the "Entrepreneurship Week", a series of local entrepreneurship events and competitions, the "IEEE Pitch Competition", and mentorship / entrepreneurship talks series.
