Poster Competition

We are calling the next generation of researchers and industry professionals to participate in the Poster Competition and showcase their research in front of international experts in the field of AI and IoT.

Call for Posters

The 2020 IEEE GCAIoT invites you to submit abstracts for the Poster Competition. The submitted work may include undergraduate projects or graduate research results, as well as ideas, designs and solutions in alignment with the topics listed in the technical tracks of the conference.

Who Can Participate?

Poster authors must be either undergraduate or graduate students at the time of submission, and may be members of a team consisting of up to 4 students. The poster should be fully the work of the student (or students) and completed before they have received their degrees.

It’s FREE!

To encourage more participants to innovate and get the best benefit from the competition, the registration fees of the accepted posters will be waived.

Digital Certification

All presenting students will receive a certificate of participation showing their achievements throughout the Competition.

Global Exposure
  • Abstracts of winning posters will be included in the abstracts section of the conference proceedings.
  • The Conference website will include the winning posters information.
  • Seize the opportunity to get exposed to AI and IoT experts from around the world.
Awards
  • Valuable prizes will be awarded to the competition winners.

Submission Guidelines

  • Participants have to submit a summary of their poster abstract through the Poster Submission Form, this summary should not exceed (~500 word) .
  • The abstract should outline the problem you are trying to solve or the system you have developed, why is it challenging, and what are the potential applications for solutions. The (~500 word) abstract should be sufficient for a reader to understand the problem domain, why previous solutions are insufficient, why the problem is relevant, and how your work will fill this gap.
  • Poster abstracts must be submitted by the deadline. Abstracts submitted afterwards will not be considered for evaluation.
  • The poster abstract should not be previously published or presented at another conference which has assigned copyright. If any plagiarism or copyright issues are found for the submitted abstract, it will not be accepted.
  • The organizing/review committee of the 2020 GCAIoT Poster Competition has reserved the right to accept, or reject any abstract without providing any justification.
  • The authors of accepted poster abstracts will be required to prepare a final poster design and presentation.
  • At least one author must register and attend the conference and the competition to present the accepted poster.
